Eulogy of the Forgotten Waves

The waves whispered tales of old,
In their rise and their gentle fall.
Each crest a memory, bold,
Each trough a silent call.

Forgotten dreams in the ocean’s embrace,
Where the sun kisses the sea.
In the depths, time leaves no trace,
Only echoes of what used to be.

There, beneath the sky’s vast dome,
In the speech of the sea’s soft sigh,
The heart finds a driftwood home,
Where it rests, where sorrows lie.

In the ebb and flow, we find,
A eulogy for what we’ve lost,
In the sea’s eternal bind,
Memories, like waves, are tossed.
